Who is the Data Controller?
The Data Controller is Simon Probert, Chairman of 20.21 Tewkesbury Together.
What does the steering group do?
The steering group works voluntarily in the run up to and including the year 2021 to arrange engagement activities, community events and event fundraising in connection with the 900th anniversary of the consecration of Tewkesbury Abbey and the 550th anniversary of the Battle of Tewkesbury. As part of this work, it engages with the local community, local businesses, community groups, charities and other interested parties. To do this, it must process the personal data of those who have consented to receive communications from us. It also manages one small mailing list for the purpose of sending 20.21 Tewkesbury Together newsletters and information about upcoming events.
How do we process data?
This steering group processes data under the lawful basis of public task. In instances where this lawful basis is not enough and explicit consent is required, a member of the steering group will contact you to establish your consent.
We are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for this purpose, and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.
Will we share your data with anyone else?
We will not share the personal information of members of 20.21 Tewkesbury Together mailing list or those in receipt of our newsletter.
